Fighting for Forever
In this second book of the duology, we pick up right where we left off in His in the Dark, and honestly? I was hooked immediately. Persephone and Hades join forces ready to fight. The tension, the passion, the loyalty, it’s all there, and it only gets stronger as the story continues.
Persephone is still caught between two worlds, and you can really feel the weight of everything she’s dealing with. She’s torn between what’s expected of her and what she truly wants. And of course, her family has plenty of opinions about it, which just adds to the pressure. But Persephone isn’t the same person she was before she’s growing into her own power and learning to stand her ground, even when it’s hard.
And when it comes to Hades? Her heart already knows the answer. The connection between them feels completely unbreakable. Their bond is intense in the best way, and you can tell this isn’t just some temporary romance, it’s deeper than that. Persephone is fighting for them, for the love they share, and for the future she wants, no matter who tries to stand in her way.
The book is once again beautifully written and checks all of the boxes for a retelling. His in the Fire wraps up the series nicely.

I started writing after having my little girl, Evie, December of 2015. All during my pregnancy with her I read. I only wanted to read romance novels and I read everything I could get my hands on. I would read a book a day — sometimes two. In January I was staying up late with her and just thinking of all these stories. They came to me constantly. I finally sat down and just started writing. I always wanted to do it so I figured, why not?
I never thought I would reach this point of success to be honest. It’s insane to me that I have connected with so many readers.
And I love each and every one of them for all of their support. I’ll be honest, some days are HARD. I have my littles during the day and I write at night.
