Football and Feelings.
Just finished Intercepted, the first book in The Coopers series, and wow, I went in expecting a sports romance and got so much more. As a new football fan myself, I loved the references and got genuinely excited to actually understand what they were talking about.
Vee is such a badass main character, smart, determined, and not here to be underestimated in the NFL. And Fin… let’s just say he’s a quarterback with a messy past and fourteen years’ worth of feelings to work through. Psh, men.
The book is well written and, as the first in the series, introduces a whole cast of characters I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of in future installments. And that cliffhanger… I was not ready. Already counting down for book two!
