BLURB.
“There was no escape from where I am going, a way to undo it. There is only destruction—and devotion.
Victoria is mine.”
Victoria is a hitman with a long list of dead bodies and an even longer list of issues. The life she knew until now is one “fuck it” decision away from collapsing, as her self-control—the only thing that keeps her demons at bay—shatters, pushing her to the verge of self-destruction.
Until she meets Azrael.
Ex-human researcher. Current professor.
Professional psychopath creator.
How do you avoid a killing spree?
By letting the psychopath who studies psychopaths do what he knows best: recode her brain.
Victoria asks him for help because she’s desperate, and he accepts because watching her sanity bleed out in front of him sounds like the most fun he’s had in years.
Darkest Obsession is the story of what happens when two monsters find the other half of their rotten soul: an obsessive, all-consuming compulsion neither can escape.

MY REVIEW.
3 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Not What I Expected…
While I ultimately enjoyed the story and found myself invested in Victoria and Azrael's relationship, one aspect of the writing frequently frustrated me: the sheer amount of internal monologue. Both characters spend a significant portion of the book analyzing, questioning, and rehashing their thoughts and feelings, often covering the same emotional ground multiple times. Although this introspection helped me understand their motivations and insecurities, it sometimes slowed the pacing and made scenes feel repetitive. There were moments when I wanted Victoria and Azrael to stop thinking about what they might do or how they felt and simply act. The constant "in their head" narration occasionally pulled me out of the story and diluted the impact of the more emotional moments.
Even so, the strength of the characters and the overall plot kept me engaged enough to overlook this flaw and continue turning the pages. The book ends on a cliffhanger and I may have to see what happens next.
MEET EVA MOROZOVA.
Eva writes stories where “morally gray” is just the vanilla version of a personality. In her books, the female characters are strong women who can handle everything on their own just fine—but really, who could resist a 6’4 man willing to destroy the world just to make her happy?
If she ever goes missing, it’s probably because she finally got that vineyard in southern Italy and is living there happily with her two cats, Momo and Pepe.
