The story has secrets, heartbreak, laughs, and love.

This is Kiley and Jax’s story. She is a teacher and helps out at her families bar. He is a hockey player. She has not liked him for years and she thinks he takes advantage of her father and his bar. When the bar needs help, he comes to the rescue and also asks a favor from her for his daughter. But the more she is nice to him and not mean the more he feels a pull to her. They fall hard and fast but neither of them were looking for a future together. Can they figure out what they will do before one of them calls it off? What happens when her son’s dad comes into the picture?

If felt like the dad part of the story was rushed and then abandoned in the end. The forgiving of Jax was fast and glossed over also.

I recommend this book.
