I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

She tried to hide her disappointment and struggles, but Braden sees right through them.  Can he help or will he put them both in more danger?  Will she ever escape the mess she has found herself in?  Or will that mess destroy them both?

I highly recommend this book.

L.P. Dover is back with the next standalone in the swoony Second Generation of the Gloves Off series and y'all, I was here for it. I loved book one and I loved this beauty right here too. Hooked right from the very start and gahhhh.. I didn't put it down for a single moment.

Taking the Fight gives us Reagan and Braden's story and be still my heart.. these two were quite the pair. Their journey was packed with heart, heat, all of the feels, and so many edge of your seat moments. Their journey was nearly everything I expected it to be and what a book.

The next one in this series can't come soon enough and I think it's time I visit some L.P. Dover backlist books I've never met.

I can't recommend this author enough.
