[Release Blitz + Review] The Player Hater by Sara Ney

🔥🔥 HOT NEW RELEASE🔥🔥
THE PLAYER HATER by Sara Ney is LIVE!!

ABOUT THE BOOK.

I would do anything for my best friend.

Well. Almost anything.

When she begs me to come on a weekend getaway so I can bond with her new boyfriend, I can’t say no—no matter how badly I want to. After all, who will keep an eye on the guy; he’s your stereotypical, professional football player (emphasis on PLAYER) and I don’t trust him with my friends heart.

Worse? He has the nerve to bring his single best friend Davis on the trip, too. Davis is too handsome, so funny and smart he can’t possibly be human. Grandma’s, babies and kittens all fall for his smile.

In fact, everyone adores but me **narrows eyes** What’s he hiding?

I refuse to fall for his act; at some point he’ll will drop the Good Guy act and show his true colors: he’s a player, too. He must be.

You know the saying: if he seems too good to be true, he probably is.

OUR REVIEWS.

4.5 Stars from Brianna!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sara Ney is has got a brand new release in a brand new series and to say I was excited about this beauty was an understatement. Sara has a way with her words.. that twists you all up and captivate you, cover to cover. And her main characters? Always unique and drumming to their own beats.

The Player Hater is the first standalone in the Accidentally in Love series and what a journey this was. Juliet and Davis, what a pair these two were. Opposites in so many ways and yet, together it just made sense, more and more as the pages and words kept going. Filled with great banter, all of the feels, a blossoming romance, and a whole cast of characters you won't soon forget.

I can't wait for the next book in this series and hoping (fingers and toes crossed!!) for so much more in the future for our two mains here.

I highly recommend this book.

Little Bit of Opposites Attract Going on...

In The Player Hater, Sara Ney gives her readers a funny look at opposites attract, friends to lovers and a few more genres. Both of our main characters have been burned in the past, so to say they are cautious is an understatement.

Juliet is best friends with Mia, who is dating Thad, who is best friends with Davis. Get all of that? Mia and Thad are getting pretty serious and feel it's time for Juliet and Davis to meet and hopefully get along so they can all start hanging out together more. Thad is a professional athlete, Davis is a former professional and Juliet is a woman with a chip on her shoulder about professional athletes being manwhores...so she's a hater. Strap in for a bumpy ride.

These characters were likeable on thier own, however together was a bit of a stretch. I understood why Juliet was a bit of a hater, it's kind of out there about athletes or stars getting whoever they want, but she was down right mean at times and poor Davis is just a guy looking for the right girl. He was written well. Very funny, a big guy with and even bigger heart, I just loved him and didn't like to see him work so hard for such a shrew. Juliet was funny, but that was about it. I didn't really warm up to her at all.

The book is well written and funny as all get out at times. While predictable, it was a solid storyline with a smidge of angst. Along with the foursome, we are introduced to Davis's sister Penelope and his niece Skipper (super cute name). Penelope is up next and she's got a lot of explaining to do.

The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Juliet and Davis’s story. When Juliet is asked to go away with her friend to get to know the boyfriend better, she does not want to but will do it for her friend. Only problem is it’s a set up. Mia’s boyfriend also brought a friend. She can tell what Davis is right away. He’s a player. She should know as she was burned by one before. He’s charming and funny and has everyone swooning. She can tell something is up with him. Or is it. He seems to be a great buy that at times has to jump through hoops for no real reason as Juliet is downright mean at times. Can these two have a future when they started off on such a rocky road?

I recommend this book.
