The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Remy and Hyde's story. Remy loved Hyde since she met him, but he didn’t love her in the same way. After seeing what that hurt was doing to her, he left. Now he is back and has brought a little girl with him. He is looking for more, but she was not looking for more from him. He let her down hard in the past and she is not sure she is ready to forgive. Can they build a future when the past was so hurtful?

I recommend this book.

Jay Crownover is back with a brand new release.. the second standalone in the The Forever Marked series, a childhood friends to lovers romance and y'all. Get ready because you won't be guaranteed. You ain't ready for this one. I certainly wasn't in a whole lot of ways and still, these two sit on my mind heavy.

Prodigal Son gives us Remy and Hyde's journey. It wasn't easy nor with lack of complications but a forever like theirs is worth the fight to the very end. Their journey was intense, addicting, packed with all the heart and feels, and from start to end,, you'll be on the edge of your seat.

Whew. My heart. I wasn't sure it was going to survive in moments of this book, if you want totally honesty. This one hit me hard and deep at so many times throughout but their happiness? Worth it all. There was sooooo much more to Remy and Hyde than on the surface.. and as you dig deeper in Prodigal Son, you will find so much beauty, so much pain, so much.. everything.

I cannot wait for MORE from this crew and this next generation and really just what Jay gives us next.

I totally recommend this book.
