I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, grief, danger, and heartbreak.

This is Sophia and Haggard’s story. He is her best friend’s father. He is also friends with her father. That makes the crush she has on him a little difficult. He is much older, but love is not about an age. He can be a good man but there are times when he is not a good man. When he needs to deal with human trash, he can be oh so bad. When someone breaks into his home and tries to harm Sophia all bets are off. He is going to take down everyone involved. They thought people would be weird about them being together but in the end, love is loving no matter the person’s age. He is a born protector and when he finds out who is responsible for hurting Sophia, he makes sure to take care of the entire problem and not leave any loose ends. These two have a way with each other the is sweet and dirty at the same time.

I have to say Lani broke me with this story. She came out of nowhere and shredded something inside of me. Not sure I am fully recovered from that just yet.

I highly recommend this book.

Lani Lynn Vale is back with a brand new series and a brand new book and y'all... what a book this was. Steamy, intense, suspenseful, a romance packed with all of the heart and all of the heat. And some my favorite tropes.. age gap, best friend's father. This beauty y'all, whew. It packed a serious punch to my feelings button and left me on such a high from the roller coaster of emotions it gave.

Always Someone's Monster is the first in the Battle Crows MC Series and gahhhhh, my heart, my poor heart. Y'all this romance was so, so good and hit all my must have marks that I need, crave. Sophia and Haggard's journey was...completely unputdownable and unforgettable in every single moment they shared.

Lani Lynn Vale will always be an auto one-click and a must read for me. I cannot freaking wait for the next masterpiece in this series.

I highly recommend this book.
