The story has laughs, pain, suspense, secrets, and heartbreak.

Before reading this story you might want to read the below that are also in this series:
No Rep (Madd CrossFit #1)
Jerk It (Madd CrossFit #2)

This is Cannel and Will's story. If you have read Conjugal visits, then you know Cannel. If you have that entire series or even the The Southern Gentleman series you met Will. These two make a get fit as they both have baggage. You get a lot of evil with this story from a few outside threats. From her ex to his partner these two need some new friends. Just when they thought the danger was over some new ramps it up and they have to fight again. But he’s helping her with healing and teaching her that his love is all she needs. Can they finally put the past behind them and move on to a better and brighter future?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read. As with any book or series you pick up you get a glimpse of another set of characters in another series. All the books tie into each other with the characters overlapping.

I highly recommend this book or really let us be honest any book this author has written.

Lani Lynn Vale is back with the next (third!) standalone in the swoony Madd Crossfit Series and y'all, I was here for all of the words in this beauty. Chalk Dirty to Me had it all in one brilliant little package, and this book literally kept me hooked from the very first word to the last.

Cannel and Will. Gahhhhhhh these two. These two y'all. My heart. I was captivated by them within the first few pages of their journey and y'all, what. a. story. Seriously whoam Packed to the brims with heart, heat, drama, suspense, and all of the pesky but much needed feels (I'm talking nearly every page y'all!)... Chalk Dirty to Me hit all my marks,  ALL OF THEM and made me want so much more from these characters.

Lani is an exceptionally talented writer and I am super glad I discovered her (thanks for the push, shove, whatever you call it Renee!). I can't wait for her next new release, especially in this addicting series.

I highly recommend this book.
