I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.
This is Shayne and Ford’s story. Ford knew for a long time he wanted to be in the army. So, at 18 he enlisted. He met Chad and they became best friends. Before they leave on a mission, he is visiting Chad’s family. He meets Shayne who is Chad’s cousin. They feel a pull right away, but he knows he is leaving. They decide to send letters. As the time passes, they fall for each other under the night sky through letters. She has a tragic past that comes out in the letters and the town treats her with whispers and looks. She is strong and that makes her a great fit for Ford. But when he comes home will they have their time? Or will it have all been just letters in the night sky?
I highly recommend this book.

Grab a box of tissues and your favorite blanket because Lacey Black and Kaylee Ryan have pulled out all of the emotional angst in their brand new release and whoa. My heart, my heart, my heart. Y'all this was such a good book and such an emotional roller coaster from the very start to final word.
Beneath the Fallen Stars packed a serious punch, straight to my heart y'all and had me all in my feels.. the. whole. book. Plus that heat, the swoon, that chemistry between Shayne and Ford. Gahhhhh these two. I loved watching their story unfold, through the ups and the downs. Every moment.. every emotion.. it was everything in the very best ways.
