I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, suspense, twists & turns, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Lisa and Brick’s story. She is used to taking care of people. He wants to take care of her and her kids. But she keeps him at arm’s length. They both have things happen her with her health and him with his family. Those things bring them together in a weird but great way. They learn to rely on each other. Her family blends with his but will it last? After all there is danger around can they over come the danger?
I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book.
