MY REVIEW.

4 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Start to the Series!

As a fan of the MC genre, Reaper’s book was a great start to the series. Honestly, I didn’t realize it was the first book until I went to write this review. Whoopsie!

Like most MC books, we are introduced to a lively cast of characters, or brothers that make up the MC. At first, I thought I was missing out on who was who, however as I read along, each character was defined more. We’re focused on Reaper in this first book. He is the prez of the club and a known bachelor, until Natalie shows up on the doorstep, that is.

Natalie is a little girl lost and I mean little, well young anyway. She’s nineteen years old and for the past year has been in an abusive relationship (trigger warning). When she finally gets the nerve to run, she runs right into the arms of Reaper. Natalie was a mess of fear and emotions, and it was nice that Reaper took her in like he did. To say he was smitten is putting it mildly. Natalie healed and grew within the MC in what seemed like a few weeks and in those same few weeks they were in love. That may be the only problem I had with the storyline, the insta-love. Not a big fan.

“When facing a monster, the best way to defeat one is with a monster of your own.”

Reaper is now drawn into a bit of a tangled web from his past, one he’s been trying to sort out and finally with Natalie’s arrival the pieces are slowly falling into place. There is quite a bit going on within the MC before it’s all said and done. I liked Reaper and Natalie, although she seemed like a quiet, shy girl, she didn’t mind taking charge of the club and its long-standing rules. That seemed a bit odd.

The book is well written, although a bit cheesy at times. We have these big bas ass bikers and then all the sudden they are talking like English aristocrats. Same with the bad guys, they also had some weird, non-fitting dialogue. That said, I enjoyed all the brothers of the MC and there are quite a few stories still waiting to be old.

MEET CALA RILEY.

CALA RILEY, better known as Cala and Riley, are a pair of friends with a deep seated love of books and writing. Both Cala and Riley are happily married and each have children, Cala with the four-legged kind while Riley has a mixture of both two-legged and four. While they live apart, that does not affect their connection. They are the true definition of family. What started as an idea that quickly turned into a full-length book and a bond that will never end.
