Unfortunately, joining a group of kids on a wilderness quest means stepping out of her comfort zone and into uncertainty. But with the target in her sights her focus stays razor-sharp.

The last thing she needs is the dogged journalist who’s been close on her heels catching up and rattling her cage. When he inserts himself into her investigation, she has no choice but to go along.

:: MY REVIEW ::

4.5 Stars from Renee!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, suspense, danger, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first.
Opal (GEM Series #1)

This is Pearl and Lee’s story. She is fighting for justice and he’s a journalist that is hot on her trail.  When he tells her all he knows she is stunned, and they decide to investigate together.  But the pull between them is strong and they have to decide if they have a future.  Can they work together and build something strong, or do they need to work alone and forget about each other?

I highly recommend this book.
