Harper Sloan has made quite the comeback in the romance world, giving seasoned readers a book that's been years in the making and wow. What a stunner. I was a Harper fan from the very beginning and the Corps family has always held a special place in my heart.
This beauty right here was.... I'm not sure words can describe. There are moments that change things and this book did just that.
Everything has changed.
I refuse to give a single secret away. I had some ideas going on but what I got was so much more.. so much I guess yeah, everything. Drew and Olivia took my heart, ripped it apart then slowly put it back together in a way I didn't know I needed it to be.
You are going to feel so many things reading this story.. happiness, sadness, anger, frustration but most importantly hope and love, so much love.
The Long Way Home was just that... a long road home that was needed for not only the characters in this world but the readers too.
Fans of this series, run don't walk to get this newbie and new readers.. you are MISSING out on something big.. something huge. I really hope we get more of these characters both in Corps Security and Hope Town series.
I can't recommend this series (and THIS book if you've read the series!) and author enough y'all.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, suspense, anger, forgiveness, deep love, a second chance, and heartbreak.

This is Olivia and Drew’s story. Drew is a ghost. He and a few of his fellow ghosts are after a man. They are sticking close to Olivia to wait for that man to surface so they can take him out. But what happens when Drew’s past finds him. Can he really chance going back? Could he really be able to have everything he never dreamed he could have again? Can he protect the family he is building and have the past also? The danger is close can he finish this one last mission and move forward with a brighter future?
I highly recommend this book.
