Good, Angsty, MC Read
Even though I started in the middle of the series with book three, K.E. Osborn did a nice job writing it as a standalone as well as part of the series. The blurb is a bit vague and this review will be the same to protect the storylines.
Dash is a young prospect within the MC and had his heart stomped by Ivy, who chose another brother over him. Dash is heartbroken and lost for a bit, until he finds something to fight for. Something he didn't realize he was missing.
The book is well written and full of angst, which I enjoy. I was slightly disappointed in how slow the story unfolded and quickly wrapped up. I would have liked a little more insight into some of the darker situations. That said, Seeking Shadows was a great read. These guys are interesting enough for me to go back and read books one and two so I can see what "the wall" is. ;)
