This book pulls you right in and keeps you turning the pages. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Emory and Jett’s story. Jett felt the pull to Emory the first time he saw her. He wants a date, but she is pushing him away. She has baggage that she is not sure he’s up for. When he finally gets that date, he learns some of her secrets. They decide on a friend with benefits arrangement. Which seems to go great that is until the feelings start happening and the past comes back. The more they are together the deeper the pull. But just when he thinks they are good she asks for something else. Can they have a future or will her past have her running away from him?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. Can’t wait for the other hockey players in this series to get their story.

I highly recommend this story, and this author. Can’t wait to read the next story in this series!
