I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first.

This is Iris and Wilder’s story. He likes solitude and does not want people in his house. He is a teacher and gets enough peopling with that. But when his friend calls an needs a place for his sister to stay he agrees. He remembers her as a shy girl with her nose in a book. Should keep his life quiet. But she changed when she grew up and she talks all the time and asks a bunch of questions he could do without. He knows he only has to have her around for two months, he can do two months, right? But secrets are revealed and feeling had can they both move on in two months?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

Devney Perry is back with the next book in the Calamity Montana series and it was all hands on deck for this beaut. Is anyone else as excited as me to be back in this small town?! Cuz y'all, my heart. 🫢🏻

Devney certainly has a way with her words and this series quickly became a favorite just a couple of books in. The Brood, the sixth in Calamity, gives us Iris and Wilder’s story (squeeeee!) and shut the front door and hold my heart. These two were absolutely everything in the all the moments and all the ways and their journey? I loved it all.

The Calamity Montana series has been a favorite of mine since the beginning and y'all this is one that just gets better and better each new release.

I cannot recommend this author and series enough y'all.
