Finn

Falling for the nanny isn’t my style...but neither was becoming a single dad overnight.

When my three-year-old niece, Hadley, needs a guardian, I fill the role and need a nanny. Stat. What I get instead is London Ashford—an infuriating redhead who tempts me at every turn.

The harder I push, the more she pushes back. I’m someone used to calling the shots, and her insubordination should irritate me; instead, it turns me on.

My nightclub isn’t going to run itself, so I have to harness my desire for her and let her do her job—so I can do mine.

London

Finnegan Royal is charming, gorgeous, and an insufferable asshole. Not exactly my type...not that it matters. He’s my new boss.

But watching a powerful businessman like Finn be brought to his knees by his toddler niece makes me feel all kinds of things I shouldn’t.

Named one of Chicago’s most eligible bachelors, he owns the hottest club in town and can have any woman he wants, but he has his sights set on me. The nanny.

The beautiful little girl has stolen my heart, but I have no doubt her arrogant uncle would break it if given the chance. So why can’t I stay away?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Predictable, but Cute.

In Royal, Rebel Shaw introduces us to Finnegan Royal, douchebag dejour...just kidding. While he seemed like a jerk, give him a few pages and hopefully he'll change your mind.

While the blurb pretty much says it all, I did enjoy the journey of Finn and his live in nanny London. He was one of those tough on the outside, but a teddy bear when it comes right down to it. He was thrown into the role of guardian to his three year old niece Hadley. While he wasn't sure what to do with it and you could see from a mile away it was going to change him for the better. Same can be said about London, as she was Finn's polar opposite and nothing but good for him. We join these two crazy kids as they try and figure out how to raise little Hadley all the while not fall in love.

The book is well written, sexy at times and pretty angst free. I wasn't a fan of London's sexual stutter or Finn's manly attitude in the bedroom, however that aside, it Royal is a good read. Surrounded by a small cast of supporting characters to help bring the story along, it reads as a stand alone with some nice epilogues to wrap things up.

This is London and Finn’s story. Finn needs a nanny when he becomes a guardian of his three-year-old niece. London is a great nanny, but she pushes all of Finn’s buttons. He wants her but she is the nanny. Can he go after what he wants? London knows that Finn can have anyone he wants but why would he want her? Can these two figure out what to do before one of them gets a broken heart?

I recommend this book.

Rebel Shaw is a kinda new and kinda not author for me. Crazy right?! It's the pen name for two is my favorite authors and throw in a trope I really like and well... you got yourself quite the angsty, steamy, intense, all in your feels nanny-boss romance here. The first in a brand spanking new series.. Club Pivot is on the map and I'm crazy intrigued now y'all.

Royal, the first in the Club Pivot series, introduces us to the infamous London and Finnegan y'all. Thrusting readers directly into their crazy complicated world, Rebel delivered an addicting romance that was packed with unforgettable moments, page-turning angst, and characters that'll leave you wanting so much more by the last word.

I'm excited to see where these two go in the future and I've already got my eyes peeled for their next release in this series.

This is definitely one I can recommend.
