I Knew I Liked Warner...

As the fourth book in the Hockey Hotties series, we finally get the goods on Warner and Imogen. While we knew a little bit about these two from Ford and Lena's book, this time around we get the whole story.

Warner and Imogen are one of those long lost couples that happen to find thier way back after a few years. They met in high school, he was her brother's best friend and she was the sister that was off limits to him. Ha nice try Ford! Imogen and Warner fell quickly and also fell apart just as fast. There was something to cause her to not want anything to do with him anymore and I couldn't wait to find out what it was.

These two were also a bit of an opposites attract couple. Her with money, him trying to do the best for his mom and siblings. Warner didn't come from much and wanted to make it big in the NHL to take care of his family. Imogen came from money, but didn't really act it. I liked these two as a couple. She was a bit high strung, but his mellow attitude pretty much evened them out.

The book is well written and can be read as a stand alone, however it is much more fun to read them in order. Plus, you kind of get a better idea of Imogen's brother Ford and why he's such a stick in the mud. All previous characters are present and accounted for, something I love in a series. While a smidge predictable, Sneaking Around With #34 was a great addition to the series.
