I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, danger, suspense, and secrets.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first as that series fuels this one:

This is Justice and Caelin’s story. These two have both been through a traumatic event. When someone they trusted took advantage and she needs protections, and he took out the threat. Now years later they are both healing. They both feel the pull, but will they act on it. After all he is older than her. With her father being the president will they keep him from pursuing her? Everyone has treated her with kid gloves since the incident. Can she overcome that and step out to be her own woman? Will they have a future when danger comes knocking? Or will they lose everything?

Whoa. I got the pleasure of reading the first four books in this series before all but devouring this beauty (right after I might add) and y'all. Again with the whoa.
This ENTIRE series is back with so many feels, all the heat, all the danger, all the suspense, all the loads of feels and did I mention allllllllll the feels it's packed with?
I tend to avoid MC romances on the regular, with exceptions obviously but y'all, there is something about Laramie's words that I'm all but addicted too (love her other series).
Restraint knocked me on my a$$ big time and kept me hurrying through all the words in so many moments. I don't want to spoil Justice and Caelin's journey but wow...
This series and more specifically this book is all kinds of complicated but oh so freaking good. It's intense. It's full of danger. It's full of secrets and revelations. It's got heat. It's got heart. It's full of nearly everything you need to keep you hooked cover to cover, just like the other books in this series. SO GOOD.
If you like a different kind of MC romance (all the good things, swear!) then the fabulous Laramie and this series (plus the original which is of my TBR!) are an absolute must read.
I totally recommend this book.
