A Different Kind of Dark.
Stick with it until the endโฆHowever You Want Me is the kind of book that leaves you feeling both intrigued and unsettled.
As I delved deeper into the story, it was becoming clear what was going on, but the full picture didnโt come together until the final few chapters, which made for a suspenseful, slow-burn unraveling. This dark romance blends psychological thriller elements with revenge and trauma. At its core, itโs about two deeply damaged people, Dean and Haley, whose shared past at the grim Cedar Woods Academy, binds them in ways that are both compelling and disturbing. What they experienced there was traumatic, and it reverberates throughout the story in ways that shape both their inner lives and their complicated relationship.
The book is well written and told in dual POV, going from past to present constantly. If anything, I would have liked more present, as the past got repetitive after a while. I was more interested in how they were doing now. However you Want Me is a quick twisty read.

I started writing after having my little girl, Evie, December of 2015. All during my pregnancy with her I read. I only wanted to read romance novels and I read everything I could get my hands on. I would read a book a day โ sometimes two. In January I was staying up late with her and just thinking of all these stories. They came to me constantly. I finally sat down and just started writing. I always wanted to do it so I figured, why not?
I never thought I would reach this point of success to be honest. Itโs insane to me that I have connected with so many readers.
And I love each and every one of them for all of their support. Iโll be honest, some days are HARD. I have my littles during the day and I write at night.
