I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, pain, and heartbreak.

This is Pepper and Atlas’s story. Atlas is friends with Pepper’s sister. When something happened to the sister and none of her family came around, he disliked her whole family, The sister told him all kinds of stories about her family so he would keep hating them. When Pepper comes to town he is super mean to her and takes her sister’s side in everything. What he does not realize is that Pepper is the good one. It takes him a while to realize what is happening. Even though he was mad about things he heard about Pepper he was still falling for her. But when the whole truth comes out will Pepper want him after he was so very mean to her? Or can they move forward with a future together?
I highly recommend this book.

Lani Lynn Vale has a brand new book out in her Carter Brothers series and what a complicated, emotional, angsty little romance this was. Rent Free, this fifth in this series, gives us Atlas and Pepper's story and y'all your heart isn't ready for their journey or the two of them. Packed to the brims with heart, heat, so much tension, and all of the feels.. you'll fall hard for Pepper and for Atlas along the way.
I can't recommend this author and series enough y'all.
