[Release Blitz + Review] Coveting the Mafia King's Sister by P. Rayne

Coveting the Mafia King's Sister by P. Rayne is NOW LIVE!!

ABOUT THE BOOK.

Aria Costa

The first time I saw Gabriele Vitale, some dark yearning deep inside me called to him and no matter what I did, I couldn’t stop wanting him.

He’s made it clear that he wants nothing to do with me. But sometimes there’s a flicker of interest in his eye, and it’s enough to make me know he’s lying.

When a stupid decision on my part throws us together, I get a first-hand view of the darkness he alludes to. One part of me is drawn to it. Another part of me is frightened by it. But not enough to stop from getting to know him better.

He’s like a black hole, slowly sucking me in. As the darkness consumes me, I don’t care if it destroys me.

Gabriele Vitale

Aria Costa is off-limits for many reasons, the least of which is that she’s Marcello Costa’s younger sister. She’s also too young and way too inexperienced to be with someone like me who enjoys dabbling in the darker side of sensuality.

My father and her brother have made it clear that I am to steer clear. And I try. But it proves impossible to erase her from my mind. Whenever she’s near, my protective instincts roar, “Mine” and I’d do whatever it takes to keep her safe.

Which is why after a foolish decision one night I’m forced to help her figure out who’s threatening her and what they want.

I’d give my life for hers, and it might very well come to that.

MY REVIEW.

3 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️

Back to the Academy.

As we head back to the Mafia Academy, we are focused on Aria and Gabriele (whom I called Gabrielle in my head the entire time) and all the ensuing drama that would incur if they were to get together.

While I liked Aria in the previous books, her immaturity shined like a diamond this time around. She was pretty much young and dumb and for having grown up in a dangerous mafia family, didn’t think about her actions having consequences much. To me, Aria homed in on Gabriele as a rebellion against her family and that’s it. These two had zero chemistry from beginning to end. Gabriele wasn’t much better with his, stay away, you can’t handle me attitude constantly. He was a challenge that she accepted.

Now what I did like, was the action going on in the background of the romance. There’s somebody after Aria and the whodunit kept my interest up until the end. There are so many mafia families crammed together at this school, it could have been about anybody wanting information or revenge.

Coveting the Mafia Kings Sister is well written, and all the previous book’s characters are present and accounted for to help move this story along. I had a hard time with the premise of this series from the get-go and never really changed my mind. The characters are written immaturely for the roles they supposedly have, and the mafia school felt too far-fetched. The book can be read as a standalone, however makes more sense when read in order.
