In Trouble is Right!!
With Royally in Trouble, we meet back up with Lily and Keller smack dab in the middle of wedding planning. As the new princess, Lily can forgo her small, family-style wedding, because these royals have lots of rules. To protect the story line, this review will be vague, something I hate doing with a Meghan Quinn book, but trust me.
For most couples, planning a wedding can be a bit stressful. Times that stress by ten and you have what Lily and Keller are dealing with. So many traditions to follow it’s driving them nuts, as well as apart. Keller has a lot on his mind pretty much going from staff to royalty. So, while we’ve got this whole wedding thing, Meghan Quinn steps into the heavier side to give Lily and Keller something to work towards and I liked it! While we still have the witty banter and Lily’s quirkiness, there’s another level to their personalities and relationship this time around.
The book is well written and while I wish I could blurt out what’s going on, I can’t. It was a different read from this author and one that I enjoyed. There’s still so much of her writing style in the book, the shift of gears was a bonus. Along with Lily and Keller, the whole royal family is around, as well as the staff members Lily has grown to love.
