[Release Blitz + Review] In The Gray by B.B. Reid

IN THE GRAY by B.B. Reid is NOW LIVE!!

ABOUT THE BOOK.

ATLAS
I know what they say. Grief makes you do things.
After the year I’ve had, I’m bathing in it.
Dad’s dead.
Mom is…mom.
My boyfriend and best friend are too busy screwing to comfort me.
When a letter arrives with no return address telling me where to go for a new start, I
don’t hesitate.
I pack some clothes and what’s left of my life and run.
But I didn’t expect the fire waiting for me when I arrived. I didn’t count on the burn.
Rowdy Wray.
They call him the lion of Idlewild.
Me…I call him boss.
He’s the key to my past and the path to my future.
What happens next is our twisted secret.

ROWDY
Who is this girl?
Atlas Beck.
This damaged young thing shows up at my place of business and tells me she’s my new
receptionist.
I should have fired her.
I would have fired her if she hadn’t begged so beautifully.
Atlas told me not to let her go, but she didn’t know what she was asking. And now?
It’s too late to put the crazy back in its cage.

MY REVIEW.

3 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not For Me.

Well, I’m not too sure what I just read, but I am sure that I’m probably too old to appreciate it. In The Gray is written with music references and conversation that didn’t necessarily take me out of my comfort zone but made me feel old for sure.

B.B. Reid gives readers a gaggle of interesting characters and a story line, which most of the time I wasn’t sure who was who and what was going on. Atlas, is a little girl lost and while she’s nineteen years old, she’s in a garage full of dudes twice her age and the minute one meets her, he wants to F her behind a dumpster and if she didn’t bite him, he would have. WTH? Atlas is trying to find out who has been sending her a series of letters and why they led her to the the Pride of Kings garage.

I will say that B.B. Reid has a vivid writing style and really holds nothing back. There was all kinds of crazy stuff going on in this book and the “gray line” was a holy smokes moment for me. Plus, the fact that the word daddy was used sexually. One of my biggest creep outs while reading. Ick. While not for me, this gritty book will catch the attention of other readers.
