The Issue with Bad Boy Roommates by Piper Rayne is NOW LIVE!!
ABOUT THE BOOK.
I was only looking for a roommate…
I’m the town widow.
Not the only one, but the youngest by far.
My husband died one year after our wedding, casting me as the charity case in my small Alaskan town.
Since then, everyone—including my big family—try to keep me busy as if that will stop the haunting memories from resurfacing.
Do I know it’s time to move on? Of course, but that’s easier said than done.
Then Van Adler rides into town. His bad boy vibe complete with his motorcycle and tattoos causes my body to fill with need for the first time since my husband’s death.
To make matters worse, he’s the one who answered my ad for a roommate. Sharing the close quarters of our two-bedroom apartment means I have to set some ground rules like keeping his rippled abs covered. Soon we become friends, he’s making me dinners, and we’re binge-watching television shows all night.
The more our lives intertwine, the more I start to fall for him. Leaving me wondering, can you find the love of your life twice in one lifetime?

MY REVIEW.
5 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m gonna have to say, I’m really liking this Piper Rayne Lake Starlight series just as much as The Greene Family series. As a fan, it’s exciting to have the crossover characters, like Ryland and Calista, show up with this new family. In the second book of the series, we focus on Brinley. A twenty-four-year-old widow that is afraid to move on.
Brinley is looking for a roommate since her cousin Calista moved out and married her super star soccer boyfriend Ryland-oopsie spoiler alert for Ryland’s book. Brinley is cautious to say the least and has every right to be. She lost her husband after only a year of marriage and wasn’t ready to put herself out there, until her new roommate showed up that is.
In a funny miscommunication, Brinley’s new roommate is Van, a man. Quite a sexy man if you will. He’s breezing through Lake Starlight with an eight-week timeline. Van needs a break from his life and his mind if you will. He’s a serious guy that has a difficult time letting go, exactly like his new roommate.
I really liked Van and Brinley and really, really liked them for each other. They were both a little bit broken from their pasts but want to move forward and don’t quite know how. These two crazy kids are holding on secrets, and I couldn’t wait to see how it was all going to pan out. When I say it’s a slow burn, it’s a s l o w b u r n, however so worth it.
The book is well written and while I felt it was predictable, I surely wasn’t ready for the twist Piper Rayne threw in…talk about catching me off guard! Again, I love the crossover characters and of course, the grandmas even have a cameo. The Issue with Bad Boy Roommates reads well as a standalone but is much more fun reading within the series.
