This book pulls you right in. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Stevie and Hendrix’s story. Hendrix is one of the lucky three. He now knows that after experiencing that kind of loss he needs to live every day to its fullest. When he meets Stevie, the sparks fly. They spend time together but with them being so different at first, they are not all in. But over time they get closer and closer, but he can feel her still holding out. Can he prove he is in it for the long haul or will the secrets she is keeping have him leaving her behind?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. Can’t wait for the other hockey players in this series to get their story.

I highly recommend this story, and this author. Can’t wait to read the next story in this series!
