[Release Blitz + Review] Seductress by Jessica Prince

TITLE: Seductress
SERIES: Whiskey Dolls #4
AUTHOR: Jessica Prince

GENRE/TROPE: Contemporary Romance; Small Town Romance; Brother's Best Friend

I knew my best friend’s little sister was off limits, I just couldn’t help myself.

When a tragic accident caused Ford Grimes to trade the fast pace of the city for the refuge that came with being a small-town firefighter, the last thing he wanted was romance. Then he met the seductive manager of the local pizzeria and found himself questioning all the rules he’d put into place for his new life.

Hardin Shields may as well have had a neon sign strapped to her that said do not touch in big, glowing letters. The single mother had enough on her plate. With a family restaurant to run and an ex who was making her life difficult, the last thing she needed was for her unrequited crush on her older brother’s best friend to take a turn into . . . something.

When the chemistry becomes too hot to ignore, they decide to keep things light and fun, but when danger comes lurking, threatening Hardin, Ford has to decide if he’s strong enough to let go of the pain of the past in order to protect the woman who’s coming to mean too much, or let her go.

**Whiskey Dolls is a series of interconnected, standalone, small town romances.**

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, naughty times, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first:
Bombshell (Whiskey Dolls #1)
Knockout (Whiskey Dolls #2)
Stunner (Whiskey Dolls #3)

This is Hardin and Ford‘s story. Ford has secrets that haunt him every day. He is not looking for a relationship. When he meets Hardin, he was flirting until he finds out she has a daughter then he stops flirting. Hardin knows she really likes Ford but his hot and cold swings confused her. When he started paying attention to her again, she set out to shut it down. But he states he wants one day at a time. When things go down, he turns cold again. Can he really open his heart when he is hiding so many secrets? Will he be able to move forward, or will he always be stuck in the past?

I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Jessica Prince is back with the fourth book in her swoony Whiskey Dolls series and y'all, Jessica certainly has a way with her words. The Whiskey Dolls are a favorite of mine and this beauty right here was everything I expected it to be.

She's a single mom and he's not looking for forever... funny how life is like that and how it works out.

Seductress is the next book up for this series and this go round we have Ford and Hardin and y'all, what a book we have right here with these tqo. Their journey was riddled with ups, downs, twists, complications.. and allllllll the heart, heat, swoon, and soooo many feels, whew loads of them on every page.

This book, this series, this author. I love every part of Jessica Prince's romances, words, and characters and I'm crazy excited for the next.

I can't recommend this author and series enough y'all.

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.
