MY REVIEW.

4 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Great Start!

Perry Harbor seems like it is going to be an interesting island. In this first book of the series, we are introduced to Finn and Emily. Each with their own set of personal problems and a gaggle of friends and family to help them figure things out.

Finn is a resident of the island, as are his parents. He has two siblings a phone call away and mountain biking friends galore to keep him busy. Emily is looking for a fresh start. She’s a strong, capable woman ready to take on the world with a new light. She dabbles in mountain biking, so it’s no surprise she meets Finn.

I liked both characters instantly. Finn was a smidge annoying with his constant judgment of Emily and her with the past she’d like to keep in the past, however they moved along at a great pace for me. No insta-love, more like let's get to know one another then throw a wrench in the relationship. The story is written around a bike race, so it was a perfect way for these two crazy kids to get to know one another. Finn was so stubborn, however it was obvious he wasn’t going to hold out long.

The book is well written and sets the series up nicely. There are secrets and that’s where the angst comes in. Not too light, not too heavy, it was the perfect amount for a storyline such as this. While we are getting to know Finn and Emily, we are also involved with Finn’s brother and sister, as well as his friends. Not to mention Emily’s friends and family and they all seem to have a story in them. Finn’s brother Lucas is up next and you can count me in for that. The book reads as a nice introduction to the series and hopefully we’ll keep tabs on Finn and Emily as it moves along.

MEET CHRISTINA BRAVER.

CHRISTINA BRAVER writes steamy, small town, contemporary romance set in the Pacific Northwest. Her stories are about real people and real love with the guaranteed HEA we all need.

She's been reading romance for decades and loves to escape into stories about strong heroes with softer sides and independent heroines with a bit of sass.

She strives to support allyship in her writing and portray diversity in everyday life. She believes together, we will save the world.

When she isn't writing, Christina can be found reading in her favorite corner chair, sipping wine and laughing too loudly with friends, or cooking dinners that always take twice as long as the recipe suggests. She lives in Seattle with her husband who shares his bourbon, and two teenagers that keep them both on their toes.

And just like her favorite latte, her books have some steam. If that's not your regular brew, you may want to change your order. Enjoy!
