MY REVIEW:

3.5 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐⭐⭐

Hot and Cold With This One

In Wunderland, Scarlett Se Leva gives her readers a rich guy and girl from the wrong side of the tracks love story.

Simone is a young woman with a myriad of emotional baggage and falling for her mother's employer's son is the icing on the cake. Ryan is nice and seems like a good guy, however I hate to say, probably too good for her. Not in a monetary way, but an emotional way. Simone does nothing but yank this guy around by his feelings page after page.

We start in the present and switch back and forth until we catch up to where we started with this complicated couple. I wasn't a fan of Simone or Ryan really, however liked the friends that helped carry the story along. It is a long ride with these two that lacked the angst you would expect from a story spanning this many years.

The book read as YA for me, as the characters were mid-twenties, but very immature. While this is an ARC edition and I'm sure there will be more edits, the writing was very clunky and the author doesn't seem to be a fan of contractions, which made the reading stiff for me. Wonderland reads as a standalone with an epilogue to wrap things up.
