Taos was tired.

There, she meets the man that saved her life a year ago, and realizes rather quickly that he doesn’t even realize who he is to her.

He’s everything she ever thought a man should be and wants nothing to do with her.

Maybe she’ll have to give him a reason to look her way.

And damned if she doesn’t find a way to do it.

She didn’t plan on nearly getting killed for that to happen, though.

At least not again.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, suspense, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Fran and Taos's story. Fran’s sister is making her take a class and step out of her comfort zone she has been in since her attack. When she goes to the class the man that saved her is the teacher. She knows who he is but he does not recognize her. The attraction between the two is instant and deep. But she still has issues that keep her from stepping out of her comfort zone. Taos has no problems pursuing her but when he learns her secrets and she learns his will it have them running? After all danger is coming for them but will it be who they suspect? Is he about to lose everything?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read. As with any book or series you pick up you get a glimpse of another set of characters in another series. All the books tie into each other with the characters overlapping.

I highly recommend this book or really let us be honest any book this author has written.

Lani Lynn Vale is back with a brand new book in a brand spanking new series and whoa. What a journey this was. I was all in from the very start, plus that blurb and that cover.. holy hotness y'all. All the steam, all the heart, all the heat... basically it's typical LLV book with a slight twist or two this go round. 

Tao and Fran had me hooked early on. Gahhhhh these two. They gave me all the feels the whole time and seriously, I was racing through the pages of their journey and devouring all the words.

If you like a romance that'll keep you addicted and on the edge then LLV is an absolute must read.. any way you can get her.

I highly recommend this book.
