READ AN EXCERPT.
His voice lowers with intent. “Know this, if you do run, I’ll slap a pair of ankle cuffs on you so fast you won’t have time to say my name. There’ll be no more playing nice. I’ll tie you to my bed if that’s what I have to do.” Cupping my jaw, he delivers the threat with a soft kiss on my lips. “The choice is yours.”
The heavy blow is dealt with tender words. They sift down like snowflakes to settle cold in my heart. I tremble as he pushes me down onto the hood and leans over me.
“What will it be, Cas?”
He’s not asking if I’m on board with this limited version of freedom. When he unbuttons my jeans, he’s asking a different question, and, as always, when he slips his hand into my underwear, he gets the truth.
MY REVIEW.
4.5 Stars from Tiffany!

Picked Right Back Up!
As the second book in the Beauty in the Stolen series, Stolen Life picks up right where we left off on our journey with Cas and Ian. This review may contain spoilers for book one.
When we left this strange couple, Cas was knocked out and headed to the airport in Ian's arms. They are no match made in heaven, however for some reason I really wanted them to work out. Ian has taken a risk so big with Cas, if it doesn't work out, she could end up dead.
Cas was a way different character this time around, something I appreciated. She was a little woe is me in the first book and this time we've got ourselves a little fighter. She's smart and isn't scared to take some chances in this new life of hers. Realizing she isn't getting out any time soon, she learns to adapt, fight and assert her place around Ian. It's not the best of situations, but it's one she's got to make work for her.
"This woman is my downfall."
Along with a different Cas, we have a more understanding Ian. Sure he's still all alpha male, I'm the boss, however he slowly realizes he can suffocate his little butterfly and expect her to live. He takes some big risks himself and for a while, gets some big rewards.
The book is well written and carries the story along. We are at a different location and I really enjoyed reading about this part of South Africa. I'm from the western the United States, and have never traveled to South Africa, so it was all just amazing to me to imagine. That said, I did want to propel the story a little and get to the good stuff, however, we've got one more book for that and boy, this one ended on quite the cliffy.
