Lamise Kelly walks into Harper Security Ops desperately hoping for a job. Working in a place filled with men who could see she remains unharmed is the perfect solution to all of her problems. Only, they’re not hiring.

For the first time in months, something stirs in Banks’ chest at the sight of Lamise. He wants to deny it, but he can’t. Refusing to let her walk away, Banks offers her a different kind of job.

Becoming a nanny wasn’t what she’d had in mind, but Lamise accepts the opportunity.

Following unimaginable losses, the pair attempt to get their lives back on track. But it isn’t long before they find themselves forming an unexpected bond.

Just as things heat up between them, a part of Lamise’s past she believed was gone forever returns.

Banks never expected a second chance. If he wants a shot at forever with Lamise, he’ll have no choice but to confront her past.

MY REVIEW.

4 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sweet Inst-love.

In Unharmed, A.K. Evans lets readers into the life of another Harper Security Ops member, the elusive Banks Huntington. He’s a man that keeps his private life private, but now all his secrets are out.

Banks is a prominent member of the team and quite a bit of the office staff feel like they hardly know him. He’s a widow and father of a six-month-old, yet his wife was never introduced to most of them. Banks’s mother was watching his young son while he worked, but a surgery put her out of commission and he needs to find someone quick, which is how we meet Lamise.

Lamise, unbeknownst to her, is pretty much on the same path as Banks, having lost her fiancรฉ recently. When she tries to find work to start getting her life back on track, Harper Security Ops isn’t hiring, but Banks Huntington is. So starts her job as a nanny and an in to what really happened to her fiancรฉ.

I liked both Banks and Lamise and even more together. Sure, this was a quick situation, especially with a kid involved, but with his security background, you’d figure Banks would check Lamise out thoroughly. They were a cute employer/employee if you will and an even cuter couple. They found each other at the perfect time and like Lamise, I couldn’t wait to find out what happened to her fiancรฉ, the crux of a Harper Security book.

The book is well written and has a sweet, slow burn. If anything, I wanted a little more angst with this couple, However, realize they have both been through enough already. Unharmed reads well as a stand alone and is a nice addition to the series.

AUTHOR BIO.

A.K. Evans is a contemporary romance author of over forty published novels. While she enjoys writing a good romantic suspense novel, Andrea’s favorite books to write have been her extreme sports romances. That might have something to do with the fact that she, along with her husband and two sons, can’t get enough of extreme sports.

Before becoming a writer, Andrea did a brief stint in the insurance and financial services industry and managed her husband’s performance automotive business. That love of extreme sports? She used to drive race cars!

When Andrea isn’t writing, she can be found homeschooling her two sons, doing yoga, snowboarding, reading, or traveling with her family. She and her husband are currently taking road trips throughout the country to visit all 50 states with their boys.
