[Release Blitz + Review] The Reason I Married Him by Meghan Quinn

THE REASON I MARRIED HIM, a brand new sexy, marriage of convenience romance from USA Today bestselling Meghan Quinn is now available in all formats!

This steamy, small town romance delivers the perfect happily ever!

BLURB.

He proposed . . . and I said yes.

Normally a jovial occasion for a couple in love, but this proposal has a very different feel.

Because the man that I'll be calling my husband blew into town with one thing on his mind . . . to make my life a living nightmare.

So why did I say yes?

Well, because we both need something from each other.

Namely, I want the farm land he currently owns, and he needs a wife in order to inherit his family cabin in his grandfather’s will.

So as he so eloquently put it, my hand, for his land.

At first, I thought the idea was nuts.

Who really gets married out of convenience?

Apparently, I do.

And now we have to sell our relationship to the town. Meaning, we're holding hands, he's pinching my cheeks . . . upper and lower. We're even forced to share the one-bedroom guest house on the farm where his monstrous body is taking up a large percentage of the bed.

But we’re so persuasive about our farse, that now I’m starting to think he actually might like me. Especially when he grabs me by the wrist and teases the shell of my ear as he whispers, “Mine.”

A New Book Boyfriend…

While Jason Orson has held the top spot for me in my Meghan Quinn world, Wyatt Preston may have just replaced him! In the Reason I Married Him, we are introduced to Wyatt and reconnect (if you’ve read The Way I Hate Him) with Aubree. This time around, we see what made Aubree the tightly wound woman she is.

“She’s a good time with a difficult past, which I think puts her on the defensive most of the time.”

That is Aubree in a nutshell. After a terrible past and dealing with a terrible ex, she’s done with everything. A little like me, Aubree makes herself unapproachable, so she doesn’t have to deal with annoying people. She runs the family farm, helps with her niece and that’s enough for her, until Wyatt Preston enters her life and tries to turn it upside down.

“She’s been hurt and has put up walls to avoid being hurt further.”

Now Wyatt, I loved him instantly. I mean this guy was written unbelievably funny, quick and above all, he was so sweet. He’s an author and while getting to know him and his author quirks, I wondered how many of them were Meghan Quinn’s author quirks as well? Wyatt has his own ex problems, as well as a little family situation he needs Aubree’s help with. And little is putting it mildly. Getting Aubree to marry him will be a feat, trying not to fall for her will be impossible.

So, we’re off. Wyatt trying to get Aubree to marry him goes as crazy at it sounds. There are many moving parts to the situation. It was a treat to keep reading and seeing how it was all going to come together. They are an opposites attract “couple” so the fun was all in the witty banter for me. A specialty of Magan Quinn’s that I truly appreciate. That and the pop culture references, this time it was Dance Moms, a show I love for some dumb reason.

The book is well written and a much-needed slow burn. Wyatt treads lightly with Aubree, which is what makes this story work. Along with our main characters, Aubree’s family and the whole damn town is present and accounted for. Plus, something that made me squeal with delight, the most epic call backs in a Meghan Quinn book for me! I won’t reveal who or what, but it was the BEST! The Reason I Married Him reads well as a standalone, but it much more fun when read within the Meghan Quinn world.
