[Release Blitz + Review] Kiss and Don't Tell by Meghan Quinn

πŸ’‹ KISS AND DON’T TELL by Meghan Quinn is AVAILABLE NOW!!!

BLURB.

Five hockey players, a cabin in the woods . . . and little old me, Winnie Berlin.

Sounds like the start of a fantasy, right? But it's not. It's my reality.

It all started when I got lost in the middle of the Canadian Rockies. A wicked thunderstorm sent my car mud sliding into a ditch and for a girl whose survival skills involve finding the nearest Starbucks, I was in deep trouble.

Forced to abandon my car in search of help, I stumbled upon a cabin in the middle of nowhere. Soaking wet, irritated, and in desperate need of a hot shower, I knocked on the door for help only to be greeted by five boisterous, burly, and insanely attractive men.

Not just men.

Professional hockey players.

I hit the motherload of fantasies, right? Wrong.

Because as it turns out, one of them is my ex-boyfriend's half-brother. And when I end up crashing in their spare bedroom for the night, things take a very unexpected turn.

I'm not sure any amount of survival skills can protect my heart from Vancouver Agitators star goalie, Pacey Lawes. But as long as we kiss and don’t tell, maybe everything will be okay . . .

MY REVIEW.

5 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Woman and Her Sports Teams!!

I don't know why Meghan Quinn bothers with lead characters in her books...the supporting characters are just as much the stars and maybe more this time around. First we got to know the Rebels and Bobbies players and now its the Agitators hockey team from Canada.

Winnie finds herself stuck and lost in BFE, in the middle of a storm. Of course there is no cell service in said storm, so she trudges towards some lights and finds herself at a beautiful cabin with even more beautiful men inside. She really lucked out.

The cabin is the summer guy getaway for five professional hockey players. After a tough cup-less season, they are chilling at the cabin to nurse broken egos and broken hearts. Each one of these men has a story and that is what always gets me with Meghan Quinn's books. We aren't only interested in Winnie and Pacey, who is the half-brother, but the whole team, not to mention Winnie's best friends as well. I digress, Winnie makes it to the cabin and gets a lot more than cell service.

The guys are great from the get go and like Winnie's friend Katherine, it's not the most ideal situation and Winnie is lucky she isn't locked in a basement as a sex slave instantly. Similar to Kathrine, I watch a lot of Dateline and other keep-your-doors-locked-at-all-times shows. Pacey takes an instant interest in Winnie while the rest of the guys make her laugh. Granted it isn't a super realistic storyline, it worked for this book.

Along with the being the character queen, Meghan Quinn is also the queen of making me watch the percentage as I read. We go into this book with a huge secret, so all of the witty banter something else I am fond of, is supposed to take our mind off of the secret, but it's still lingering in the background, so much so, that you don't even want it revealed because things are going so well dang it.

The book is well written and funny as all get out. I could have done without Pacey's bedroom antics and the fact that he was constantly putting his fingers under her chin and pushing it up. Not sure why, but that got on my nerves. However, the rest of the story made those things very minor in this journey because there is nothing like a bunch of friends that love and watch out for each other in the funniest ways. While I don't know if this is the start of a series, I sure hope so as there are lots of backstories to tell.
