I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Harper and Alex’s story. Harper is struggling but when she gets offered another job in the company with more perks, she jumps at the chance, but her boss Alex is a jerk. He turns hot and cold all the time. Had her all worked up and wanting to quit. She knows she just needs to stick it out so she can make a better life for her and the girls. But will it be worth all the hurt and pain? Alex has a rule never get involved with an employee, but Harper makes his want to break that rule. Can he keep it together or will he fall for her while trying to push her away? Will they ever have a chance with him fighting his rules for having her the entire time?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.


I recommend this book.
