I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, abuse, secrets, and heartbreak.
This is Adley and Rory’s story. I didn’t read the others in this series but was able to follow along. I will be going back and reading them to get caught up with the friend’s dynamic. These two have a history of rubbing each other the wrong way. But when his son gets hurt and he sees how she is with his son he reevaluates how he sees her. She comes off mean and harsh but when he learns of her past he understands her. They build something together but will it keep them from hating each other?
I recommend this book.
