New author alert for me! Poppy St. John is a brand spanking new author for me, with a brand new book, and what a way to be introduced right here. A dark, steamy, angsty second chance romance with an over the top morally gray hero?! Sign me up every single time y'all.

Cruel Dominion is her newest release and gahhhhh. This beauty was a whoooole lot of addicting at times and certain moments. In this, we get Carter and Anna's story and this is not one you want to miss. Poppy packed this book cover to cover with heat, heart, intensity, twists, complications, angst, suspense, all the feels, and did I mention loads and loads of heat?! Spanning from past to present, this book was really, really good and hooked me early on.

Y'all, Poppy is on my radar now and I'll be checking them out in the future... and the backlist.

I can definitely recommend this book.
