This book pulls you right into this emotional read. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, second chances, and heartbreak.

This is Juniper and Callum’s story. These two were high school sweethearts but they broke up. She ended up with his brother. When he is called to town for his mother getting hurt he learns that she has not had a easy life. She needs help and he is ready to help her. Can he get her to believe that he will help her, and she can be free? When they get away the feelings, they had in the past are still there so can they just be friends? When her husband comes for her will they be able to count on each other for protection? Can they move forward after she no longer needs protection? Or will this be the final goodbye they needed.
I highly recommend this story, and this author. Can’t wait to read the next story in this series!
