[Release Blitz + Review] Another Goal by Alexa Padgett

πŸ’œ NEW RELEASE πŸ’œ
We are excited to celebrate ANOTHER GOAL by Alexa Padgett is LIVE!!

ABOUT THE BOOK.

In the high-stakes world of professional hockey, sparks fly both on and off the ice….especially when unexpected consequences ensnare me after one incredible night with the NHL’s charming winger, Luka Stol...

Luka is a formidable force on the ice but has never faced a challenge quite like me. He is determined to be there for me and our unborn child when he learns about my pregnancy. But my reluctance to share my motive for fleeing Houston in the first place leaves him in the dark about the dangers lurking in the shadows.

Luka and I experience a rollercoaster of emotions and unpredictable twists as we deal with love, secrets, and hockey. Amidst the laughter and camaraderie of the locker room, we must confront our fears and fight for our love against all odds.

Join Millie and Luka on a passionate journey that will make your heart race and leave you cheering for their happily ever after in this steamy hockey rom-com. “Another Goal” sizzles with chemistry, witty banter, and the thrill of the game, proving that sometimes, love is the most daring play of all.

MY REVIEW.

3.5 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quick Romance/Suspense Read.

In this fourth installment of the Wildcatters Hockey series and the only one I have read; we are taking a closer look at handsome hockey player Luka Stol and Millie the petrochemical engineer.

Luka and Millie meet at a bar and one thing leads to another and weeks later Millie finds out she’s pregnant. Everything in this book was warp speed, I’m telling ya. Speaking of telling, Millie told Luka right away, which I liked, but she only did it because she was thousands of miles away in Shri Lanka. Yep, you read that right. Luka is in Houston and Millie out of the country, so there’s all kinds of stuff to figure out with these two.

While it seems like I’m in the minority, I wasn’t a fan of this couple. I’m not a fan of insta-love and granted sometimes it works out, but not this time. Luka and Millie are an opposites attract couple that had zero chemistry from beginning to end.

Along with Millie and Luka, all their friends are involved in their situation, which was a book saver for me. I liked the action running along in the background more than our main characters. Although it reads clunky for me, Another Goal can be read standalone, but feels like it would be better read in order.
