[Release Blitz + Review] How to Score Off Field by Sara Ney

πŸ’œNEW RELEASEπŸ’œ
We are excited to celebrate HOW TO SCORE OFF FIELD by Sara Ney is LIVE!!

BLURB.

I, Drew Colter, have a confession to make…I’m burnt out and need a break.

From school, from football—from living with roommates, my obnoxious twin brother and our older brothers girlfriend. The only person who I can talk to these days is my best friend from high school, and he’s back in our hometown and halfway across the country.  Somehow he convinces me that maybe…

…Maybe it’s time to take a trip. Party. Have some fun.

That fun does not include his sister.

Long black hair and even longer legs, Tess Donahue had lost the braces and gained the confidence she never had as a teenager. She’s hilarious, pretty—and when I see her in those cowboy boots?

Whoa.

Stolen glances. Flirty banter. One drunk filled night.

Suddenly, my uncomplicated weekend of ‘living a little’ in my hometown becomes a lifetime being tied to the one girl that was off limits.

OUR REVIEWS.

4 Stars from Renee!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The story has secrets, pain, and heartbreak.

This is Tess and Drew’s story. She has loved him forever.  He never even knew and has never looked at her that way.  But one trip home to a party and they are spending all kinds of time together and falling hard.  Forbidden is what they were but now it’s all out all the secrets.  Is it the end of them?  Or can they build a future on love?

I recommend this book.

Sara Ney is back with a brand new book in her Campus Legends series and y'all, Drew and Tess are on the scene to steal your heart during their journey. How to Score Off Field was really good, packed to the brims with heart, some heat, and alllllll of the feels. Sara never disappoints with her booms, always delivering a romance that is an easy, fast read.

I can't recommend this author enough y'all.

Love These Colter Brothers!

Drew is the last Colter brother to have a girlfriend and his brother’s stories were crazy, I can only imagine what is in store for Drew.

In Drake’s book, we learned that he and his twin brother Drew are opposite when it comes to personality. Drew is a little nerdy and awkward, all the while looking like a football god. It’s always interesting when a star jock doesn’t take the man-whore road that is wide open to them. Drew has been best friends with Grady since they were kids, so an invite to a bachelor party weekend didn’t seem off mark at all. Grady’s all grown-up, beautiful little sister waiting at the airport to pick him up? That was nothing but trouble.

Tess had a crush on her brother’s best friend for years, but never told him. Now when she’s stuck with him for a weekend, she realizes that crush is alive and well. I liked Tess and Drew, although they were a bit cheesy. They acted like a couple of bumbling teenagers instead of the twenty-somethings they were supposed to be. Which, in a way made since for Tess harboring that teenage crush. They find themselves thrown together for the weekend and you can guess what happened next.

Tess and Drew’s weekend of fun turns into quite the epic miscommunication/holding secrets nightmare that played out a little odd and maybe a little too convenient. I don’t know how to word it really. The drama, Tess’s idiot brother (he was a terribly written character) and the entire surroundings were weird and stilted.

The book was well written and sexy, in a fumbling, bumbling kind of way. Drew and Tess were very open with each other on likes and dislikes which I thought was cute. One complaint would be the diary entries. I wasn’t a fan and will admit to not reading most of them, now the texts I enjoyed. I’ve never been a diary person and have a hard time appreciating them in a book. As a fan of witty banter, the texts were a hit for me. Drew’s story is a nice addition to the series, although I wish there was an epilogue to wrap things up better.
