Devney Perry is back with the next book in her infamous The Edens series and what a book, heck a series this has been. Crimson River is the fifth in this series and this was an absolute showstopper right here. Packed to the brims with everything a Devney Perry book promises.. Lyla and Vance will steal your heart right from the start and leave you wanting so much more.
I absolutely adoooore and am slightly obsessed with Devney's words, characters, and worlds she builds. I've been a huge fan for many years and I swear her writing gets better and better every day.. but this beauty right here? All kinds of unforgettable.
I can't recommend this author and series enough y'all.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, danger, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below, I would recommend reading those books(s) first.

This is Lyla and Vance’s story. Lyla owns a coffee shop and tends to spend all her time running that shop. When her sister sends her out for the day to get some much-needed fresh air something happens. Lyla tries to go back to her normal, but she is not the same. Vance and her meet and become sort of friends but does he have a motive for being in town? Will he leave when he is done doing what he is doing in town?
Not gonna spoil this story but it has danger and hope all rolled into a suspenseful story that pulls you in. Will Vance be able to find out the truth?
I highly recommend this book.
