BLURB.

When I walked into a gentlemen's club looking for a job, the last man I expected to see was the boy next door, whose heart I broke all those years ago.

Dante Mancini is all grown up.
He’s changed.
Dangerous.
Hardened.
Mafia.

He’s so handsome I’ll never be able to trust myself near him. Dante is and always has been my kryptonite. One look, one touch is all it will take for me to spill my deepest secrets and that will only break us more.
Desperate times call for desperate action and now he owns me.
I can't run from my past. A single kiss has me craving things I can’t have. It causes a tiny flame of hope in my chest, fueling our inferno of chemistry.
But our past is waiting.
Dante might be a made-man but I’m the true villain in our story.

MY REVIEW.

4 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

On the Fence.

In Throne of Sin, Emily Bowie gives readers a little mafia and second chance romance all wrapped into one. Dante and Demi are teenage sweethearts that find each other again ten years later. However, there is quite a bit happened to each of them in the time they were apart.

Demi has always been hustling. Trying to take care of her mom when she was a teen and now trying to take care of herself and other issues in her life. I liked that Demi was a fighter. She had a tough upbringing and did her best to stay on the right track. Dante was her one that got away, little did she know she would stumble into him years later.

Dante is a hot head adult and was the same way as a teenager. I wasn’t a fan of his at first, teen years or adult years, but his character grew on me. Dante has always loved Demi, even if she did stand him up long ago when he promised to get her out of the mess they both lived in.

The book felt slightly clunky to me and that’s where I was on the fence about it. I liked the story, however at times it read kind of cheesy. Along with Dante and Demi, there’s a gaggle of characters to help the story move along. While predictable, Emily Bowie handled elements of her storyline well and I enjoyed how it all wrapped up in the end.
