I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Ella and Steele’s story. She wants to save her family restaurant and he’s the man that wants to take it away. When she shows up at his work, he pulls her into a pretend relationship. If she sticks it out, she can have her place. But his family is horrible, and his ex just will not go away. Can she stick it out? Just when things start forming and going good for them his family makes sure to ruin it. They part ways. But did she not love him like he thinks, or did she give him up for a good reason? Can he win her back or has she moved forward with her life? Will love and forgiveness win out or will anger and bitterness win?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.
