Micalea Smeltzer is back with the next book in her The Wild series and whew wee boy. This was one complicated, angsty, all in your feels romance that'll have you gripping the pages hard and wiping quite a tears away. Wild was super good and this one.. well just wait until you REALLY meet these two.

The Rising was everything I expected to be in the most up and down kind of ways (I mean did you read that blurb?! 🥴) and gahhhhh my heart, y'all, my heart after this one.. what a journey.

The Rising gives us Kira and Rush's story and my heart, heck your heart ain't ready for this one, that's a guarantee. Packed to the brims with heart, heat, and twisty curves that'll break you then build you back stronger than ever.. with the hope that it's an unbreakable kind of way.. it should be known KIRA made this romance.

This series so far definitely isn't for the faint of heart and while this isn't my usual cuppa (iykyk), Micalea writes in a way that I just have to check it out, regardless of tw.

I can't recommend this author's writing enough y'all.
