I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, suspense, twists & turns, secrets, pain, and heartbreak.

This is Emme and Honon’s story. She is working hard to take care of herself. She does not trust a lot of people because of her past. When one of her friend’s kids shows up with a note, she knows she needs help. Honon steps up as he has wanted her for a while. But has kept his distance. As they uncover her friend’s secrets, they fall for each other. But will it last? After all it started because of the danger will she want to continue after the danger is over? Will he want a ready-made family that is not his own?

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.
