This book pulls you right in. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Ava and Cannon’s story. He knows all about loss just like this team does. So when he gets the job he does not hesitate to take it. His coaching style is a little different but after the last coach they need different. Ava works at a coffee shop he goes to. They have one date and then something happens. He goes hot and cold and feelings are hurt. Can he get over his lost in the past and learn to let love back in or will he lose his second chance at love?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. Can’t wait for the other hockey players in this series to get their story.
I highly recommend this story, and this author. Can’t wait to read the next story in this series!
