A Little Sports and More.

In Jealous Stryker, Lexi Noir introduces readers to Jackson and Sophia, star-crossed lovers that are looking for a way back to each other.

Jackson is a star football (soccer to me) player with a smidge of a temper. He was dating Sophia, the love of his life and after an incident, she has run into the arms of Jackson’s teammate and now lucky Jackson gets to see them together all of the time. Besides his problems with Sophia, Jackson’s also dealing with his younger sister wanting to live with him and an incident with a fan blown out of proportion. 

Yikes. This story. I wasn’t a fan of the set up from the get go, the ex with the teammate deal and really didn’t think Jackson should bother with getting her back. Needless to say, that fact also made me not interested in these characters. While I get the premise, it wasn’t for me. The book reads clunky and while this is an ARC edition, I hope it gets another pass through from an editor. Jealous Srtyker reads as a standalone to the Players & Sinners series.
