[Release Blitz + Review] How to Lose at Love by Sara Ney

🏈HOT NEW RELEASE🏈
We are excited to celebrate to share HOW TO LOSE AT LOVE by Sara Ney is LIVE!!

ABOUT THE BOOK.

I needed a good girl to save my bad reputation.

With too much on my plate, the very last thing on my mind was a relationship—the football draft was looming and dating got in the way. I never understood why my teammates bothered with girlfriends. None of us had the time.

When my sports agent suggested that being seen in public with a respectable girl would be good for my bad reputation, I couldn’t think of a single person to help me out. The only girls I knew weren’t wifey material, and the ones who were? Might catch feelings.

Except Ryann Winters.

Responsible. Sarcastic. Smart. Ryann was perfect but there was one clincher: she was my teammates ex-girlfriend and I had recently been paid by him to dump her.

Not the best start to a fake relationship…

Love These Colter Brothers.

While it took me a minute to figure out why Dallas Colter seemed familiar, it was a surprise when I finally realized why…he’s the younger brother of Duke Colter, featured in The Secret Roommate. These Colter boys are so sweet and funny and really don’t have a clue when it comes to women.

Dallas Colter is following in the footsteps of his famous father and older brother by heading to the NFL after college. He’s a bit gruff on the outside and his agent is looking to change that reputation before the draft. After the best meet cute ever, if you will, Dallas finds himself drawn to the sarcastic and brilliant Ryann. Yes, that can also be a guy's name. ;)

Sara Ney did a fantastic job with Ryann’s personality. She was beautiful and smart, not falling for a handsome football star instantly, rather making him really work for it. I absolutely loved her character. The ball busting was insane and had me laughing out loud constantly. Dallas reminded me a lot of Duke and not in a bad way. These Colter boys were brought up to respect women, as none of them want to be like their philandering father.

So Ryann and Dallas enter into some sort of arrangement to help his image and of course, things are gonna get messy for them emotions-wise. While they are both dead set in not liking each other, the more time they spend together, the line starts to blur. At one point the reminded me of the scene in 22 Jumpstreet where Jonah Hill and Jillian Bell didn’t know if they were going to fight or #uck. Hilarious!

The book is well written and so funny. Sara Ney is a master at this college-age humor, while throwing in an 80’s reference to Jake Ryan from Sixteen candles. I think my biggest laugh came from this Dallas line about one of his younger brothers,
“He lifts his leg and lets one rip before walking toward the door with a laugh, crop-dusting the entire space. What an asshole.”
That killed me because crop-dusting is a phrase we use around my house. This is the first book of the Campus Legend series and I’ll be patiently waiting to see how the youngest Colter’s find love.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sara Ney has a brand new series out and y'all, this was the absolute PERFECT first book to set up how this series will follow. Swoony, smooth, sweet, fun, complicated from the start (but who doesn't love those?!). Sara certainly knows her way around romance.. and how to write the best characters and tell some of the best love stories.

How to Lose at Love is the first standalone in the Campus Legends series, giving us Dallas and Ryann's story and y'all, this is one you cannot miss out on. Lots of sparks and all of the feels, this book was packed cover to cover with everything I need my romances to have.

...and if you felt a little deja-vu when you started this beauty then you aren't the only one. πŸ˜‰

I love Sara and all the words she gives. I can't wait for the next book in your series because these Colter boys are crazy addicting y'all.

I can't recommend this author and book enough.
