Now I need to find balance between hockey, my boys, and the explosive chemistry Brienne and I can no longer deny. A cast-off hockey player and the league’s only female team owner? I can think of a million reasons why it could never work but can’t bring myself to care about a single one of them. Game on.

This book pulls you right in. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, grief, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first:
Baden (Pittsburgh Titans #1)

Gage (Pittsburgh Titans #3)
Coen (Pittsburgh Titans #4)

This is Brienne and Drake’s story. Drake walked away from hockey after his ex-wife told lies that everyone believed, and no one had his back. Brienne had a meeting with him that went bad very fast. Now she knows she has to get him to join the team. No matter the cost. The only issue is that the chemistry between them is off the chart hot. Can they come to an understanding? She needs him on the team, and he needs her. Can they build something that is secret? After all they have no future, right? Or will what is building between them be just what they both never thought that they would need?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. Can’t wait for the other hockey players in this series to get their story.

I highly recommend this story, and this author. Can’t wait to read the next story in this series!
